Howdy doody!

Today, I have accomplished such wonders of wonders!

1.) I, with my sister, co-produced a master project: Blackforest cake! (Well, it was slightly oval-shaped because she tried to tilt it while throwing the chocolate sprinkles on the side. And, it was dented because of some inexplicable reason. But what the hey.)

2.) We saved 4 chickens in the process. Well, we actually saved four eggs, technically, because we decided to use a recipe that required less eggs. However! This one would suggest that our demand for four less eggs would lead to a decrease in the demand of eggs (by four, however insignificant) from the market, thereby decreasing the amount of fertilised eggs taken (by four) from the bee-yoo-tiful white (or brown) chickens at the farm!

*Starts singing "Old Macdonald"*

So maybe we did save 4 chickens. One never knows. =p

3.) Ah yes, and my greatest accomplishment of the day. It has long been, since the beginning of time, my dream to finally...

Well, I can now light a lighter with one hand!

=D

Cheers!

Woot~

It’s the eve of my second exam. And what am I doing? Blogging. Sigh. Doesn’t matter. I’m gonna do great, anyway. Trust in God, yeah!

It has come across my attention that my CPM book for singing has this gigantic picture on the front.

Ain’t that a huge mouth??

Well, I just had to do something about it. While my singing teacher was talking about the proper stances and all, I drew a little me on top.

The finished product:

Ta-dah!

(It's a little blurry. I'd click on the picture to see it more clearly.)

I had to do it! I mean, what else is one supposed to do with that big a mouth?

Cheers!

One of life’s major accomplishments: I HAVE WATCHED X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE TODAY!!

I AM ALL POWERFUL!! HEEARGH!!!!

Wow, I suddenly realise how many exclamation marks I’ve used so far. 8 in 3 sentences…

… Anyhoo! During the movie, when they were introducing Gambit, the camera kept focusing on this guy in yellow. I immediately assumed that was him, and I was like, what? I thought Gambit was supposed to be a ladies’ man! Isn’t he supposed to at least be someone who would probably make the ladies swoon?? I mean, that outfit, already… *mumbles inaudibly*

And then when they zoomed in onto the real Gambit, and he smoothly removed his hat to show the camera his face, I was like… (AAHHH! Totally swoon-worthy!) He IS good-looking! Woo! Go Gambit!!

Later on I realised that Gambit is also Pogue Perry from the Covenant. *Sways slightly* I REMAIN LOYAL TO CALEB! EVEN THOUGH THE REAL ACTOR IS MARRIED TO A WOMAN 7 YEARS OLDER THAN HIM!!!...

… Actually, now might not be a bad time to convert to Gambit. Hmm...

By the by, that guy playing Gambit can’t seem to do a French accent. No such thing going on with him. Sigh… Oh well! Minus 0.017 points for my movie Gambit! *Winks*

Cheers!

You know what? Let’s not even go there.

Whew! Creating is thirsty work!!

MUAHAHAHA!!! … I have trapped all of them leftovers for meself! Yes, for my future SNACKAGE!!

(Oh my gosh, the spelling check didn’t pick anything up on that last word. Is “snackage” even in the dictionary??

… Oh wait. It’s because it’s in caps. My bad.)

Okay, it’s official. I think this blog here has seriously died-ed. It’s been what? 5 months since I last put something up here?

Oh dear.

Anyway, since my internet should be coming round soon (hopefully), I might be more loyal to my bloggeh!

Sigh, I do miss my doggy.

(Okay, that was totally random.)

Anyhoo, for all you nice people out there that actually read this blog, here are some nice pictures for you to look at!!

Summer with his fur shaved off:

Yes, that’s my leg. And I’m in my pajamas, so don’t comment, or I’ll smack you in the face.

And Summer with his coat of fur back on!!...

KYAAAA!! SO CUTE!

Anyways, I will be going off now to do some actual work. I think I’ve actually done a pretty good job reviving my bloggeh, no? How do you care for my resurrection technique?

Cheers!

Going back!

  • Feb. 10th, 2009 at 10:04 PM

Ack, I can't believe how long it has been since my last post. Although... I was seriously thinking of letting this bloggie d-i-e. Sharon told me that I shouldn't 'cause my posts always make her laugh.

Sob! I feel sooooo touch-ed!

Anyway, I've been replaying the game: Harvest Moon 1, the original original version! I think this is the 17th time I've played it... But that's not the problem!! My hoe disappeared mysteriously and now I can't till the soil! Wahhhh...

I was looking up some FAQs about Harvest Moon and couldn't find any answers that actually answered my question. I DID, however, see that somebody's cow once turned into a cat.

!!!

The writer of the FAQ told that guy to walk it off... and get some cat litter.

Whee! I can't wait to go back! Only two days to go!

Cheers!

Had Christmas Party?

Today I went over to Bras Basah and with the help of some of my sisters, bought approximately 21 books! Yay~!

Do you know what happened yesterday? I’ll tell you what happened yesterday. Why shouldn’t I tell you what happened yesterday? Well, thank you for asking! Actually… there’s no reason for me not to tell you what happened yesterday because I want to tell you! Ahem, and therefore… Yup.

So! On to what happened yesterday!

I suppose it must have been me trying to survive on two hours of sleep, because the first thing I did when I went down for breakfast was to throw the butter knife into the dustbin. Then I walked off. Of course, I came running back when my brain caught up with my actions. ^^ Then I fished the knife out of the dustbin and stuck it in the kitchen sink.

And then, let’s see… I had a sandwich for breakfast, and then I grabbed a sweet out of a jar and ate it. Whee! It was chocolate! And when I’d finished with it, I took the wrapper, and before I realized what I was doing, threw it out through the window into the laundry.

After that I smacked my forehead and killed two dozen brain cells. Sigh.

I think I need more sleep.

Cheers!

5x5x5

  • Oct. 8th, 2008 at 2:50 AM

2:45am 46 seconds. I have FINISHED the 5x5x5 rubik’s cube I got for my birthday yesterday! Meanwhile, my hands are aching and my brain muscles are sore. It’s sort of like solving a 4x4x4 I suppose… just mild (but humongous) adjustments here and there.

Cheers!

I would love to write more and express myself at this point, but I’m afraid my hands feel like putty right now and are slowly spreading across my keyboard so. Goooddnnigggggghhhttt…..

My 18th.

  • Oct. 7th, 2008 at 10:41 PM

OH MY Gosh,
Thank you everyone who wished me today! On facebook from Melbourne and Malaysia, and on the phone from Melbourne! Haha...

And thanks guys, (or should I say, girls, with the exception of Senthilan) who came over today and brought me a cake with candles to blow out! ...

Erp. Excuse me. I’m feeling a little weird right now. I ate continually today, starting from 12pm. I had a humongous lunch, then went right into tea at 2:45 with cottage pies, creampuffs, sugar rolls and a slice of chocolate cake, and then we sat in front of the TV to watch Sky High. (Whee!) And ate dinner. Wow.

I don’t know how it happened, but I have 4 cakes for my birthday. I baked a chocolate cake for myself, we have an Uncle staying with us for some time and he brought home a lemon-cheese cake, Janani, Evan, Amanda, Vasugi and Senthilan brought over another chocolate cake, and I think there’s a box containing another cake in the fridge… Whoo.

Cheers!

Ah, Sky High is SUPER fun to watch! I watched it in 2005, once again a week later, and another time last night! ... Or this morning. Or whatever. My favourite character? Warren Peace! He looks cuter than Will Stronghold! (Oops, did I just say that out loud??) W-ell, at least he turns out alright in the end. =D

Tika tika tika tok! (I don't know why I just said that. Please don't hold it against me.)

(Left: Warren Peace, Right: Will Stronghold)

What're YOU looking at, punk?

Surprising Amanda Jayne Lee

  • Sep. 25th, 2008 at 12:55 AM

Hee hee, that was fun! On Friday (I think it was Friday), Janani and I decided to let Amanda know that I was back in Singapore! Well, Evangeline, Janani and I were supposed to surprise Amanda AND Qarihah, but Evangeline fell sick that very day, and Qarihah overslept. How very sad, but oh well!

Then, THEN! Amanda overslept too, and she came about 1 1/2 hours after the appointed meeting time. So Janani and I amused ourselves by taking neoprints together. We did nerd pictures, and all sorts of strange stuff, but, hey! That's what neoprints are for, right? And in the middle of editing the pictures, Amanda walked in! She saw Janani and me, and immediately thought I was Qarihah, who had straightened and cut her hair short.

So she poked me.

I didn't turn around cause I wanted to complete my picture first! And when I did... Oh, that was hilarious. We should have thought of bringing a camera! Right, Janani? Right?

Well, we were right in the middle of the gaming place with a hundred of other machines surrounding us, and when I turned around... Amanda looked so unbelieving and stunned.
Then she shouted,

"OH MY GOD!"

Yup.

Cheeerrs!

By the way, I just had my leg scratched a long, bleeding strip down the side by those bougainvillea plants in front. Stupid little flowery plants with no flowers and all thorns! I'm cutting you all to pieces NOW! HYAAA! (Starts chopping all green unmoving things in sight.)

FINALLY.

  • Sep. 9th, 2008 at 2:28 PM

Today is THE day! And why is it THE day?? Why? Why?

Well, thank you for asking!

Today is the day I have FINALLY completed… THE 4x4x4 RUBIK’S CUBE!!!

MUAHAHAHA…!! I feel so powerful.

Eh...
Cheers!

We have just finished surprising Janani with her very own surprise birthday party! Yes, that was on Friday. Delayed, reaction. I know, I know… Well! Since today is Wednesday when I’m posting this… actually, there’s no real advantage for it to be Wednesday before I post this… Oh, yes! There is! I got the pictures from Janani! Bwahaha!!

The thing is, I didn’t tell her or Evangeline that I was back in Singapore. I told Senthilan (I had to let SOMEONE know.) and he helped me plan the party. We called her mom, checked her timetable and all sorts of nonsense.

So when I waltzed in with the chocolate birthday cake with blueberry filling and whipped cream on top (later on we stuck on a bar of kinder bueno for good measure) her jaw dropped. She was letting Senthilan in, at the time, and was so shocked that she dropped her keys.

The rest of the day was pretty fun, too! We made Janani blow out relighting candles, and Senthilan, Evan and I took so long getting to Janani’s house that the whipping cream on top melted (into butter, I might add!). It still tasted great, though. We stuck it in the fridge for 10 minutes first. Evangeline got sugar high… or is it chocolate high? Anyway, she started giggling, which set me off.

I laughed until I cried. That’s Janani’s doggie over there: Lucky. (Isn't she cute?) We think it’s because Senthilan wouldn’t let her do *ahem* something to his leg that she happily did her business all over the floor. And I mean all OVER. As in scattered. As in everywhere.

Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANAN-EH! I am sure you are very touch-ed by all this surpris-ed thingys-ed, just as Evangelin-ed is-ed delight-ed I am-ed using this-ed form-ed of speaking-ed.

Back home.

  • Jul. 29th, 2008 at 11:59 AM

Whew! I just finished sweeping and mopping the whole of the outside of my house. I had to move the potted plants here and there to sweep and mop underneath, and all the furniture too! (huff, huff, huff). I seriously need to take a bath. I’ve got soil all over me. I don’t even dare to check for creepy crawlies.

Apart from the Camp Rock soundtrack, I’ve been listening to the Banana Boat song for a few days straight! It’s a really catchy song I think, but the lyrics are a bit strange. One of the verses starts off like this:

Come, Mister tally man, tally me banana
Daylight come and me wan’ go home

You see what I mean? Who’s this Tally person and what’s he doing with this guy’s banana?

Cheers!

Saturday night's alright

... for making fortune cookies. Sharon, of course, was head cookie-baker, but Wei Ying, Carmen, Lin and I had lots of fun writing the fortunes. I wrote one that said, "If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried." Jon also suggested that I write, "Man does not live by fortune cookie alone."

There was also this one. Jon tried to help by writing "If you are a male: Wei Ying is single and pretty." Wei Ying and I changed the 'Y' to an 'X' and added an 'O' to the second part of her name. We also changed a couple of other things.

And... we wrote something on the back as well.

I wonder who got that cookie...

Ah well. In any case, Wei Ying and I were drawing on the newspapers that we used to line the table top. We were designing Jon's prom gown (which he said he WOULD wear.)

Note the uneven wings in the background. That was an accident. Jon wanted wings on his outfit, so Wei Ying and I immediately took one side each. =D

Cheers all!
Goodnight!
